For Small Businesses · Albuquerque

Practical AI for the business down the street.

An introduction to the AI tools that small businesses need to save time and work more efficiently. This workshop is appropriate for all skill levels.

The problem isn't the technology. It's the time.

If you run a small business in Albuquerque, you're probably spending hours every week on email, quotes, invoices, scheduling, and social posts. You've heard AI can help with that. You may have even tried it and gotten results that did not meet your expectations.

This workshop is designed to set you up for success, using AI to automate key workflows, create assistants that can help you get work done, and teach you the fundamentals needed to work with AI safely.

Start free. Go as far as you need.

Each step leads to the next. Most businesses stop after the sprint, with everything running in tools they already own.

  1. Start here

    Free workshop

    Free

3 hours, hands-on, in a small group. Leave with an AI assistant set up for your business and one real task automated.

    • No tech background needed. If you can send an email, you can do this.
    • Bring a laptop. You build it yourself with help in the room.
    • Straight talk on data privacy: what's safe to put into AI, and what isn't.
    • No sales pitch during the session.

  2. Step 1

    AI Jumpstart

    $450

Workshop attendees: $350 within 30 days

One session on your real accounts, on-site or virtual. Your assistant set up the way you'll actually use it, and your first one or two workflows built on your own data.

    • Works with the assistant that fits your tools (Claude, Copilot or Gemini).
    • For you alone or a small team.
    • You leave with something running, not a slide deck.

  3. Step 2

    Workflow audit

    From $750

Credited in full toward an integration sprint

A map of how your business actually runs, the three to five places AI saves the most time, and a written plan with priced options.

    • I look at how work moves from "yes" to getting paid.
    • You get a one-page plan you can act on with or without me.
    • If we build it together, the audit fee is credited toward the sprint.

  4. Step 3

    Integration sprint

    From $2,500

    Fixed price, 2–4 weeks

I connect the tools you already have: skills, connectors, automations, a simple dashboard. It ends with a one-page runbook and a handoff session.

    • You own every account and every login.
    • "Done" is defined in the proposal before we start.
    • No subscription to me. If you want more later, we scope it separately.

Prices are starting points for a typical small team. Bigger teams or messier data land higher; you'll always get a fixed price in writing before we start.

How I work

Your tools, not custom software

I set up and connect what you already pay for: your email, calendar, documents, spreadsheets, invoicing. Nothing new to maintain, and nothing that breaks when I'm not around.

You own everything

Every account, every login, every automation is yours from day one. At handoff you get a one-page runbook and a walkthrough, so you're not dependent on me.

A clean handoff, not a subscription

Each project has a defined finish. If you want more later, we scope it separately. No retainer required to keep what we built running.

Straight talk on data privacy

The first question in every room is "is my data safe?" We cover what's safe to put into AI, what isn't, and how to set things up so your customer information stays yours.

How we protect your data

Most AI consultants for small businesses don't have a security program. Fulcrum does, because the same company builds software for schools that handle student records. Here's what that means for you, in plain language.

  • Fulcrum runs under a written information security program aligned to the CIS Controls, the standard security checklist for small organizations. It is reviewed every year.
  • Everything runs over encrypted connections, and every admin account uses two-factor authentication. I don't share logins, and I never keep your passwords.
  • When I set up AI tools for you, we use the account types and settings where the provider does not train its models on your data, and I show you where those settings live.
  • There is a written incident-response plan. If anything ever went wrong with your data, you'd hear from me within a day.
  • Fulcrum carries business liability insurance.
  • When a project ends, any copies of your data I hold are returned or deleted.

Who you'll be working with

Tim Regalado, Ed.D., is an educator and school leader who has spent the last few years bringing AI into a school network: writing the policy, training the staff, and building the tools. Small businesses have the same problem schools do, just with fewer people to solve it. Fulcrum brings the same practical approach to the business down the street.
